Archway Homes Celebrates Ten Year Anniversary

Celebrations took place on Saturday May 21st in commeration of Archway Homes' ten year anniversary.

Founded in 2010, Archway are really 12 years old, however the 10 year celebrations were put on ice due to Covid restrictions stopping play. So this year, our normal annual summer BBQ became an afternoon of entertainment with a 60ft long inflatable assault course, a selection of food stalls including wood fired pizza, fish and chips, and Mexican, jazz musicians and, of course, a free bar.

The day was also a celebration for a number of other reasons. The birthday of our Chairman, Paul Pedley, the ten year work anniversaries of Rachael Whelan (Land and Sustainability Director), Bryn Roberts and James Allen (Groundworks Managers) and lastly the retirement of Barry Parkyn (Construction Manager).

The party was attended by Archway staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and their families. The weather was kind, the children had a ball on the assault course and it was a fabulous opportunity to put faces to the names of the people on the other end of the telephone.

Despite the 2 year delay, the party was a huge success and a fitting way to mark what is now 12 years of building not only homes, but small communities.
