Eastham homebuyers get to know their new neighbours

Helping create a sense of community amongst new homeowners, Archway Homes hosted a special Meet the Neighbours event for buyers in Eastham.

The independent homebuilder is creating a new development of 21 homes at Eastham Fields, off Eastham Village Road.

A third of the properties have been reserved “off plan” and, as the first residents are starting to move in, Archway wanted to bring the new community together.

Sales Manager Samantha Dean explained: “Often when you move you get to know your immediate neighbours and it’s only gradually over time that you start to recognise other people living nearby by sight. The idea behind the Meet the Neighbours event was to give residents of Eastham Fields a head start by introducing them to others who will be living here.

“More than a dozen people attended and feedback is that they loved being able to get to know those who will be living nearby. It’s really helped add to the excitement about moving. The event was also a chance for an exclusive first look inside the show home. One buyer told us it was good to get in to see everyone and that it all feels real now.”

Current availability includes a four-bedroom Elder style home, priced at £274,995. It features an expansive kitchen, dining and family room, with direct access out onto the south facing garden. A separate lounge at the front, with a utility and cloakroom complete the ground floor accommodation.

Upstairs, the master bedroom boasts an en-suite, leaving the family bathroom to serve the remaining three bedrooms.  NEFF appliances, turfed gardens and all flooring are included in the price, along with fibre to the property and many other enhancements.

A further phase of four-bedroom detached homes at Eastham Fields will be released for sale in January, to coincide with the opening of the Poplar style show home.

Archway Homes has sponsored neighbouring Anselmians RUFC and the show home has been dressed in the club’s colours of navy and yellow. Construction of the new homes has enabled the club to improve its facilities with work on a new clubhouse, new pitches, 100 parking spaces and a new community hub underway.

“Part of the appeal of Eastham Fields is that it’s a new development within an existing community,” Samantha added.

“There are lots of neighbourhood facilities nearby including convenience store, deli, hairdressers and café; while Bromborough and the Croft Retail and Leisure Park offer a wider choice of shops, bars, restaurants. It’s also the perfect location for those who love the outdoors as nearby Eastham Country Park offers acres of woodland to explore.”
