Development retrospective

Hilbre View was a development of 8 family homes, situated in the charming rural village of Alpraham, within the Cheshire countryside. Tarporley, with its historic buildings, numerous antique and fashion shops, as well as excellent eating places, was just 3 miles away, while the larger centre of Nantwich was a 15 minutes' drive. The beautiful Roman city of Chester with all its facilities was also within easy reach.

Originally, a car sales room and garage, the previous buildings had already been cleared and a planning permission secured by the time of the acquisition by Archway Homes. The scheme consisted of two four bed semi-detached homes, 4 three bed terraced properties and two affordable homes. As the detailed planning permission had already been obtained Archway Homes developed the site in accordance with the secured scheme, transforming a one acre derelict site into a desirable place to live.

Two of the house types evolved into the current Beech and Cedar house types, one of the former being perfectly positioned at the end of the terrace for use as a show home, showcasing the high standards of finish and specification that have become synonymous with Archway Homes.
